NURSERY

SUNDAYS @ 10AM

Check-In : Nursery We love the little ones, and each of our adult volunteers have had years of experience with babies and toddlers. We have a secure check-in and check-out procedure, and sanitize each toy weekly. The nursery is located upstairs by the sanctuary.

There is a family room conveniently located next to the nursery. If you need to feed, console, or if your child needs a little extra connection this is the place to go. We have comfortable chairs, lowered lighting, and the room is stocked with products for both parent and baby. There is also a window and speaker that allow you to be a part of the Sunday service.

3YEARS-11Years

SUNDAYS @ 10AM

Check-In : Lower Gathering Room Kids who are 3 years old - 11 years old will check in downstairs in the Vineyard Kids area. We begin with creative free play, group bible lessons, worship, and art-making. After worship, kids will separate into age-appropriate classrooms. There they will continue learning through story telling and artful activities. All pointing Jesus’ heart for children— helping them hear who He says they are.

VKIDS!

  • When you check your kid(s) in, you will receive a Parent Tag as well as a Child Tag for each child you check in. The Child Tag is placed on your child, and the Parent Tag is to be kept with you until the end of the gathering. For security purposes, you will need the Parent Tag in order to check your child out of VKIDS. If this tag is lost, you will need to see a VKIDS volunteer at the Check-In Station after the gathering in order to have another one printed.

  • Check out will be at the VKIDS Entrance where your child was checked in. Have your ParentTag along to stick to the pickup poster at the VKIDS entrance on door.

You can then make your way to their age-specific classroom for pickup — One of the teachers will check out your ChildTag before releasing your child to you.

  • Please keep your phone on vibrate. If for any reason we need to get a hold of you throughout the gathering, we will do so by text message to the phone number on your Child’s profile (and ChildTag). If we cannot get a hold of you via text, we will send a team member up to the Sanctuary to ask you to come down to VKIDS.

  • Our Nursery is available for children ages 6mo-36mo and is open at 9:45am for check in. You can drop your kids off before heading to the sanctuary for worship. If your child is having a hard time we will do our best to help them adjust but will contact you if they are crying for more than 15 minutes without any indication of stopping. We will also contact you if your child needs a diaper change.

  • Our kids ages 3-11 are invited to join us in VKIDS, so long as they are fully potty trained. Their classroom teachers will be ready in either a 3YO-5YO clasrrom or a 6YO-11YO classroom. You are welcome to accompany your child in VKIDS if you sense they need a bit of help to acclimate. There are many soft start activities that are designed to engage their curiosity and wonder :)

  • If you need a private space for nursing, there is a designated section attached to the nursery for you. There, you can still experience the service. Diaper changing stations are available in our restrooms and in nursery.

  • Our prayer at Vineyard is to partner with families in nurturing children to follow the path of Jesus. We want our kids to learn about God, but we want so much more than that. Our desire is that every child would have the opportunity to encounter God every single Sunday. We believe that God desires to have an intimate relationship with each child that comes through our doors.

Our joy is to facilitate an encounter with God. It is our goal that everything we do on a Sunday would empower parents to take the lead in the discipleship of their kids at home.

We believe that parents who are following Jesus are the primary and most effective agents of discipleship in the lives of their kids. Parents wield more influence, time, and spiritual authority in their children’s lives than we ever will, so we want our programming to reflect that reality. Please see our resources below + the Parent Cue app for more activities and prayer practice throughout the week!

  • We will be having two services on Easter Sunday! 8:30AM & 10:30AM. With VKIDS offered at the 10:30AM service! See you there!

  • The BEST way to follow along with our weekly lessons is on the Parent Cue App! We highly encourage all families to download this. Everything here will support your child(ren)'s development as designed by God— with parenting phases, daily prompts, conversation starters, art activities, recipes and more! Our family loves using it for our daily devotionals & table conversations!

You will choose Vineyard Grafton as your home church and easily access all of our Vkid's video lessons, verse of the month, and activities each week! :) This content is personally customized for each child in your family. A gem!

  • Another favorite for our VKids families! The Dwell Bible App for Kids! Dwell Kids Daily invites your child to become a participant, not just a listener: Each devotional invites them to actively respond through prayer and meditation, connecting their heart to the abiding presence of God.

*Dwell is a paid app, but our family finds it well worth the investment. There are daily meditations for adults too, and abundant resources. Here is a sample of the content. Feel free to use this link for 25% off the app!

  • For our VKids to freely worship and dance throughout the week, with motions! Click here to follow along on our Vkid's Worship Channel!

  • Our VKid's Playlist for listening on the go, in the car, or at home! Great uplifting truths through song!

  • Ask Away is a podcast where kids can ask anything about the Bible. Join Meredith Miller as she and her kids explore a Bible Story and then talk about questions sent in by kid-listeners! Listen here.

  • Intentional Parents.org exists to equip people throughout the world in their desire to become passionate Jesus followers— to pass on who they become through their own life, leadership, marriage, parenting, and family for generations to come.

We love their daily scripture texts - that prompt our families to ask, pause, and pray each day. You can opt in to their texts of daily scripture-based encouragement here!

About

God loves children, He is calling them to Himself. We are here to help break down barriers and help children see God for themselves. Children are not the future church, they are the church of today. This means we we are not just investing into our future when we serve them, but embracing what they have to offer us as part of the body of Christ. We do this by inviting them to show up as their unique selves and embracing the silly-ness, creativity, and their love for fun.

The safety of your child is our highest priority. All of the adults working with children have been background checked and are trained to serve in Vineyard Kids. All children go through a secure check-in and check-out procedure where adults must present a matching tag to pick up a child. Toys, cushions, and rooms are regularly cleaned. We prioritize the spiritual, emotional, and physical well being of each child.
