Basic Life Support (BLS) Training
Offered by the American Heart Association (AHA)
This BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies, perform high-quality chest compressions, provide effective ventilations, and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The course reflects the latest science and education from the AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
Who Should Take This Course?
Anyone aged 16 and older who needs to learn CPR and basic cardiovascular life support skills for in-facility (e.g., hospitals, clinics) or prehospital (e.g., EMS, public safety) settings.
