VISION:
VKids partners with children and their families as they learn to know, love, and follow Jesus. Through engaging, gospel-centered teaching and meaningful relationships, we create a safe and fun environment where kids can encounter God, discover who He created them to be, and learn that they can participate in what He is doing. We also equip families to continue conversations about faith at home throughout the week.

YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT FOR THIS TEAM IF YOU:

  • Love Jesus and enjoy being around kids and families.

  • Want to help children encounter God and grow in their faith.

  • Are patient, kind, dependable, and know how to have fun.

  • Enjoy working with others and believe everyone gets to play.

  • Are willing to learn, encourage, and make every child feel known and valued.

SERVING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Teach or assist with the provided weekly curriculum.

  • Help create a welcoming environment where children can learn, ask questions, and participate.

  • Build meaningful relationships with kids and their families.

  • Pray for and encourage children as they learn to know and follow Jesus.

  • Protect the safety and well-being of every child by following VKids policies and procedures.

  • Communicate and work closely with other team members.

TIME COMMITMENT:

  • Serve one or two Sundays each month.

Vineyard Youth exists to create a safe, welcoming, and fun community where middle and high school students can encounter God, build meaningful relationships, discover their God-given identity, and learn to follow Jesus for a lifetime.

YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT FOR THIS TEAM IF YOU:

  • Love Jesus and want to help young people know and love Him.

  • Are willing to listen, encourage, and make room for students at every stage of faith.

  • Believe God can work through ordinary people who are available to Him.

SERVING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help create a safe, welcoming environment where every student feels known and valued.

  • Encourage students to participate in activities and discussions without pressure.

  • Lead a small group through provided questions and make space for honest conversation.

  • Pray for students and encourage them as they learn to hear from God and follow Jesus.

TIME COMMITMENT:

  • Serve approximately two Sundays each month.

  • About 1½ hours each Sunday.

  • Commit to serving throughout the school year.

  • Participate in occasional youth events and leader gatherings.

The Hospitality Team helps create a warm and welcoming environment where every person feels seen, valued, and at home. From the moment someone enters Vineyard Church, we help remove barriers, build connections, and make room for people to experience God’s love and become part of God’s family.

YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT FOR THIS TEAM IF YOU:

  • Have a warm, friendly, and helpful spirit.

  • Want to help people feel comfortable and connected.

  • Can remain calm and helpful in unexpected situations.

  • Believe simple acts of kindness can demonstrate the love of Jesus.

SERVING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welcome people as they arrive for Sunday services.

  • Help guests find their way and answer basic questions.

  • Assist with refreshments and other hospitality needs.

  • Work with the Safety Team to calmly guide people during severe weather, evacuations, medical emergencies, or other unexpected situations.

TIME COMMITMENT:

  • Serve one or two Sundays each month.

  • Remain available for a short time following the service.

  • Help with occasional church events as available.

The Worship Team helps create an environment where people can encounter God, respond to His presence, and worship together as God’s family. Through music, we serve the congregation by removing distractions and helping everyone participate in what God is doing.

Our goal is not simply to perform music, but to humbly lead and support genuine worship.

YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT FOR THIS TEAM IF YOU:

  • Love Jesus and have a heart for helping others encounter God through worship.

  • Sing and/or play an instrument.

  • Are dependable, prepared, and able to work as part of a team.

  • Can receive feedback with humility and a desire to grow.

SERVING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Arrive prepared and on time for rehearsals, sound checks, and services.

  • Help create a worship environment that is engaging, welcoming, and free from unnecessary distractions.

  • Encourage fellow team members and contribute to a healthy, prayerful team culture.

TIME COMMITMENT:

  • Serve approximately two or three Sundays each month.

  • Attend scheduled rehearsals and pre-service sound checks.

  • Spend additional time preparing music or learning technical responsibilities.

  • Participate in occasional training, special services, and worship events.

The Audio/Visual Team helps create an environment where people can encounter God, respond to His presence, and worship together as God’s family. Through sound and visual media, we serve the congregation by removing distractions and helping everyone participate in what God is doing.

Our goal is not simply to produce a service or perform music, but to humbly lead and support genuine worship.

YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT FOR THIS TEAM IF YOU:

  • Love Jesus and have a heart for worship.

  • Have experience with sound, video, or presentation software.

  • Are interested in learning new technical skills.

  • Are dependable, prepared, and able to work as part of a team.

SERVING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Arrive prepared and on time for rehearsals, sound checks, and services.

  • Audio/Visual Team members will operate sound, presentation, livestream, or video equipment as assigned.

  • Help create a worship environment that is engaging, welcoming, and free from unnecessary distractions.

  • Encourage fellow team members and contribute to a healthy, prayerful team culture.

TIME COMMITMENT:

  • Serve approximately one or two Sundays each month.

  • Attend scheduled rehearsals and pre-service sound checks.

  • Spend additional time learning new skills.

  • Participate in occasional training, special services, and worship events.

Come alongside people and to invite God’s kingdom of healing, comfort, freedom, and peace to intervene in difficult times and to empower followers of Jesus to live out God’s calling for their lives in fullness. Also to align our hearts with the Father’s heart as we petition Him to work on behalf of the needs of the body of Christ in our community and in the church at large. 

YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT FOR THIS TEAM IF YOU:

  • Surrendered your life to Jesus, are committed to following Him and live according to His Word

  • Have compassion for others

  • Desire to see God’s kingdom break into difficult circumstances

  • Want to grow in hearing God’s voice for others as you share the message He’s given you with love 

SERVING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prayer Ministry Team: Be available to pray at services as needed and continued prayer  throughout the week as the Holy Spirit leads

  • Intercessory Prayer Team: Attend Regular prayer gatherings and prayer throughout the week 

  • Intercessory Prayer Team: Pray regularly for the church, its leaders, congregation, and community.

  • Intercessory Prayer Team: Pray for requests shared through the church’s prayer channels.

TIME COMMITMENT

  • Prayer Ministry Team: Attend a Ministry Team Training session as offered and commit to follow Vineyard prayer practices

  • Prayer Ministry Team: Stay approximately 20 minutes after Sunday service

  • Prayer Ministry Team: Gathering every other month for approximately 1 hour for  logistical discussions, prayer and ongoing growth opportunities

Small Groups and Life Groups create welcoming communities where people can connect with God, build meaningful relationships, and take practical steps in following Jesus. Some groups gather for a particular topic, activity, or season, while others meet on an ongoing basis. Each provides a place where people can be known, grow in faith, care for one another, and participate in God’s mission together.

YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT TO LEAD A GROUP IF YOU:

  • Love Jesus and want to help and encourage others to grow in their faith.

  • Are willing to listen, pray, and walk alongside others.

  • Believe you do not need to have all the answers for God to use you.

  • Believe everyone gets to play and has something valuable to contribute.

SERVING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare for and guide regular group gatherings

  • Create a safe, welcoming, respectful, and confidential environment.

  • Make room for Scripture, prayer, honest conversation, and hearing from God.

  • Encourage everyone to participate without pressure and help people discover their God-given gifts and talents

TIME COMMITMENT:

  • Groups may meet weekly, twice a month, or for a defined number of weeks.

  • Meeting length and frequency vary by group.

  • Allow additional time for preparation, communication, prayer, and care.

  • Participate in leader training and gatherings as scheduled.

The Grounds Team helps create a safe, welcoming, and well-cared-for place where people can connect with God and God’s family. Through practical acts of service, we care for the property God has entrusted to us and help everyone who visits Vineyard Church feel valued and welcome.

YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT FOR THIS TEAM IF YOU:

  • Enjoy serving God through practical, behind-the-scenes work.

  • Like working outdoors in both warm and cold weather.

  • Take satisfaction in seeing the results of your work.

  • Are dependable and able to serve independently or alongside others.

  • Believe that even ordinary acts of service can demonstrate God’s love.

SERVING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Mow and trim the church lawn during the warmer months.

  • Monitor winter weather and help clear snow and ice.

  • Shovel, snow-blow, and salt sidewalks before services and activities.

  • Help keep the church grounds safe, attractive, and welcoming.

  • Serve with humility, care, and attention to detail.

TIME COMMITMENT:

  • Approximately once a month, depending on the weather and team schedule.

  • About two hours for lawn care.

  • Less than an hour for most snow events, with occasional early-morning availability.

The Vineyard Safety Team helps create an environment where everyone can worship, learn, and connect without unnecessary distraction or concern. We serve as attentive and compassionate shepherds, prepared to respond calmly and wisely to medical emergencies, severe weather, fire, or other safety concerns.

Our goal is to protect people while reflecting the kindness, dignity, and welcome of Jesus.

YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT FOR THIS TEAM IF YOU:

  • Care deeply about the safety and well-being of others.

  • Remain calm, compassionate, and clear-minded under pressure.

  • Have experience in medicine, the military, law enforcement, or emergency response.

  • Want to learn CPR, first aid, situational awareness, and emergency procedures.

  • Can balance attentiveness with the warm, welcoming culture of Vineyard Church.

SERVING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Remain observant and available during services and church activities.

  • Respond appropriately to medical emergencies, severe weather, evacuations, fires, and other concerns.

  • Recognize situations in which someone may need help, support, or intervention.

  • Work closely with team members, ministry leaders, and emergency personnel.

  • Treat every person with compassion, wisdom, and dignity.

  • Help maintain a safe environment without creating fear or distraction.

TIME COMMITMENT:

  • Participate in monthly training.

  • Serve one or two Sundays each month.

Family Sharing

Family Sharing

You canFamily Sharing is a food pantry and resale shop that provides food, clothing, and other essential items at no cost to people in need in Ozaukee County. Approximately 42,000 pounds of food is distributed to 600 households per month, as well as nearly $6,000 worth of clothing, household items, and furniture. None of this could be accomplished without tons of community volunteers.

From the very start, our church has partnered with Family Sharing through annual financial support, hundreds of pounds of donated foods, and volunteering. Our team serves at Family Sharing monthly to help sort food for the pantry. We would love for you to be a part of the good that is being done here. also edit this by clicking on it.

ADRC of Ozaukee

The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Ozaukee County is governed by the people it serves. We strive to support consumer choice through the provision of information and assistance and through options counseling. We provide consumers with the tools they need to make informed decisions in order to maintain as much control over their lives as possible.

Our mission is to provide a one-stop source of information and assistance for older adults, adults with disabilities, their families, friends, and caregivers by advocating for and linking them with resources and services that enable them to live as independently as possible.

Jail Ministry

Jail Ministry

This is an amazing way to love and support those who do not know the Lord. It is a team of people who serve in four distinct areas:

1. A weekly Bible-based recovery program for men and women in the Ozaukee County Jail.
2. Sunday Services in three Wisconsin prisons: Dodge, Kettle Moraine, and Taycheedah.
3. A bi-weekly Bible study at Teen Challenge residential house for women.
4. A weekly Bible study at WINDS sober living house for women.
